Mastermind Groups are as good as their members. In a good group the whole is more than the sum of its parts. Then the “Mastermind” can be experienced, the synergy of the group members. Everybody in the group can be lifted up and walk away with more energy and focus than before the meeting.
Someone I met on Twitter searched and found a Mastermind Group in his vicinity. Eager to learn and contribute, searching for energy and focus, he went to join for one session, and found it disappointing. When your first MMG meeting is a bummer, don’t give up! Do not stop searching until you’ve found a group of people that works.
Here’s how you know that you’ve found the group that works for you:
- you’re listened to, not only talked to
- you’re not critisized, instead ideas for improvement are pointed out
- your peers care about you, your life, and your ideas
- you love to contribute with your knowledge and life experience, because you care
- everybody leaves the meeting with higher energy and renewed enthusiasm
Of course, Mastermind Groups might generally not be for you, or it’s not the right time. Then no MMG will work for you. But probably you just have to find a group that works for you, and wherein you work for the group.

I think the main thing i missed, or was really dissapointed about was the fact that i left with less energy than before.
I wanted to feel refreshed and re-vitalised which didnt happen.
Luckily there wasnt any criticising or anything like that, but there wasnt enough focus, in my opinion.
Im a very cerebral individual and i only seem to bond with people who seek a higher intellectual connection.

Its a great activities of mastermind group by coordinating of two or more minds, in a spirit of perfect harmony, for the purpose of accomplishing any given task. I think their activities would be effective for all community.
